Grounded in a shared commitment to academic excellence, equity, and emotional well-being, we cultivate a learning environment driven by high expectations for all students, meaningful relationships, and inclusive practices.

Through collective responsibility and intentional action, we ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, succeeding together as one school family.

VIRTUES OF THE MONTH

During the month of December, we are focusing on helping others calling on our school community to demonstrate caring and generosity. Families are encouraged to talk about these virtues together. Check out these related books from the public and/or school library, or follow the links to read along online:

The Coat by Severine Vidal and Louis Thomas

In The Coat, a little sister dreams of becoming the new owner of her big sister's beautiful red coat. When she finally receives it though, she is faced with a big decision that shows just how big her heart really is.

The Gift of Nothing by Patrick McDonnell

The Gift of Nothing is a heartwarming story of a cat who wants to give his best friend (a dog, of course) a very special gift. He decides to give him "nothing" and shows us all that THAT really is something!

Those Shoes by Maribeth Boelts
Learn about peer pressure, compassion, and gratitude in Those Shoes, a story about a young boy who wants THE coolest pair of very expensive shoes.
