BCPS plans for a specific number of inclement weather closures in the master calendar each year. In school year 25-26, school buildings may close for additional weather events, but learning will continue using a virtual model. Each school will post virtual learning plans.
HHES Virtual Learning Plans
HHES students in grades 3-5 are bringing home their devices on Friday, February 27, 2026 in the event that there is a need to shift to virtual instruction next week. Please track the weather and official BCPS announcements. In the event of school/building closures, packets and information will be updated on this page.
Google Meet Access
HHES teachers will be logged into Google Meet at 10:50 AM for virtual learning and support.
Codes for Google Meet were sent home with students on Friday. For privacy and student safety, meeting codes will not be posted publicly. Email your child's teacher if you need the code.
Grade Level Specific Information
Grades PK- 2
To support learning during our virtual day, students in Prekindergarten through Grade 2 brought home instructional packets last Friday. Completed work should be returned when we resume in-person instruction.
Primary teachers will host drop-in office hours from 10:50–11:50 a.m. via Google Meet to answer questions and provide support. They will also remain logged into their Google Meet throughout the day to assist students as needed.

Grades 3 – 5
Students in Grades 3 through 5 should log into their Google Meet at 10:50 a.m. for synchronous instruction. Materials needed will be available via Schoology.
